Addressing and Balancing the Role of Private Prisons and Rehabilitation Efforts
The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Committee (CCPCJ) was established by the Economic and Social Council, focusing on advancing global efforts to enhance transnational crime prevention and criminal justice systems. Address critical issues such as international crime, human trafficking, cybercrime, and the reform of criminal justice systems, CCPCJ develops and monitors policy guidance of UN crime programs. The committee emphasizes the development of comprehensive strategies to promote the rule of law, protect human rights, and improve legal frameworks worldwide. CCPCJ is an intermediate level dual-delegation committee.
