Currently a Grade 11 full IB diploma student at Semiahmoo Secondary School, Alex is incredibly thrilled to be serving as the Chair of the CCPCJ at AbbyMUN 2024. Ever since his first conference he attended in Grade 9, Alex has developed a deep enjoyment and love for MUN, from the satisfaction of having your resolution paper pass to the crazy marriage ceremonies that occur in crisis committees. Many of his favourite memories of his high school experience come from spending time together with his friends at conferences debating, chatting, going out to meals together, and maybe, just maybe, breaking the curfew rules a tiny bit. When not participating in MUN activites, Alex can be found trying to dox images people have sent, speedrunning Minecraft an unhealthy amount of times, or repeating the same dad joke over and over again to people until they lose their minds. Alex hopes to have an incredible day of debate and diplomacy and to see what fun memories will be created out of this day for everyone involved!
