In her junior year at Lord Byng Secondary School, Sofie is thrilled to serve as the Co-Director of the European Union Committee. Since her first conference a year ago at AbbyMUN 2023, she discovered a curiosity and enjoyment for MUN that has opened her up to a world of new perspectives. From the unpredictable debates, the silly superlatives, yapping with delegates during unmods, and the crisis committee addressing the worldwide bounty on the Sugar Plum Fairy, to running around in torturous heels and dressing up in professional attire, she relishes the uniqueness MUN offers. Outside of MUN, Sofie can be found hopping on a transit bus to “wherever,” enjoying the tranquility of 1 AM, and capturing memories on her digital camera. Sofie is looking forward to meeting delegates at AbbyMUN 2024.
