A senior at Saint Patrick Regional Secondary School, Rafaela is beyond ecstatic to serve as the Director of the Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee at AbbyMUN 2024! Yet intimidating for her first-time delegation as a naive tenth-grader, Rafaela has grown from the shy spectator who barely spoke, to the active delegate continuously raising her placard during committee sessions. From cramming resolution papers to crashing into the U.S. Senate next door, Model UN has unlocked Rafaela's vision to the infinite complexity of global affairs. Entering her final year of Model UN, Rafaela would never forget these memories like no other, and the friendships made throughout this incredible journey. Outside of committee rooms, Rafaela can be found practicing the piano and violin, enjoying her late-night revenge-scrolling on Instagram with an average five hours of sleep, or watching Formula 1 cars racing in circles. Rafaela is looking forward to a committee filled with fiery debates, and wishes all delegates the best of luck at AbbyMUN 2024!
