As an IB Diploma Year 1 student at Abbotsford Senior Secondary, Iksahib Hansrao is beyond ecstatic to serve as the director for DISEC at AbbyMUN 2025. Having started his own Model UN journey in Grade 10 at AbbyMUN 2024, Iksahib is incredibly nostalgic and proud to be back as a director. He joined MUN out of self-imposed peer pressure and has loved the formal and intriguing nature of Model UN. Along with Model UN, Iksahib takes part in debate, Media Broadcasting, Key Club, Ignite Club, and more. When he isn’t losing brain cells while cramming for his next IB Chemistry test, Iksahib enjoys smashing birdies on the badminton court, watching Money Heist on Netflix, and playing BeamNG.Drive on his brother’s computer, because he loves physics (and crashing cars in the name of science).

 

Iksahib hopes to see first-time delegates find a passion for Model UN at AbbyMUN 2025 along with seasoned veterans refining their skills. He looks forward to meeting every delegate and hopes to foster an environment filled with learning, brainrot, and innovation in DISEC at AbbyMUN 2025
