Alisha Renning is excited to return to AbbyMUN for her second year staffing, bringing her passion for global affairs and a dedication to fostering meaningful discussions. This year, she serves as the Chair of the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), a role she looks forward to tackling with enthusiasm and a commitment to engaging and insightful debate. Alisha first joined Model UN in grade 8, where she discovered her interest in international relations. Outside of MUN, Alisha is an active student involved in various extracurricular activities, including her school’s drama program, where she is currently performing in Snow Angel by David Lindsay-Abaire, as well as being Deputy Head Delegate for STPMUN Club. Her experiences both on stage and in Model UN have sharpened her communication and leadership skills, which she brings to this year’s conference. She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside her peers to help create a memorable AbbyMUN 2024 for all delegates.
