Prospective Delegates, Sponsor Teachers, and Faculty Advisors,
Welcome to Abbotsford Model United Nations 2026! This year, it is my incredible honour to serve as your Secretary-General alongside the rest of the secretariat team.

Entering into its 7th iteration of providing an accessible, free, and diplomatic conference, AbbyMUN is honoured to stand as the largest free day conference in British Columbia. In 2019, AbbyMUN was founded with the goal of providing a barrier-free opportunity for youth to engage in stimulating debate, complex global issues, and insightful leadership. Although several years have passed since then, these core values have not changed and will continue to be represented in AbbyMUN 2026.

In preparation for this conference, our secretariat and staff teams have worked endlessly to ensure we provide you with a
high-calibre experience filled with joy, learning, and growth. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or first-time delegate, I hope that at the end of this conference, you will have formed countless unforgettable memories and connections that follow you for a lifetime.
