A sophomore at Prince of Wales Secondary School, Freddie Zhang is honoured to serve as the Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Affairs for AbbyMUN 2024. Starting from his debut conference in grade 8, he has been captivated by the power of arguably illegible directives and passionately raised placards as humble yet effective mediums in voicing diverse perspectives. Since that inaugural experience, he has immensely treasured the invaluable opportunities in international relations, diplomacy, and informed discussion that MUN provides. Freddie currently serves as Co-President of his school’s Model UN club (PWMUNC) and Co-Secretary-General of PWVMUN. When not furiously jotting down notes in committee sessions or repeatedly banging gavels to plead decorum, he enjoys playing songs that defy the clarinet and piano’s abilities and whipping up mysterious baked goods in his kitchen. Freddie is looking forward to AbbyMUN and anticipates a conference of fierce deliberation and astute discussion that culminates in fostering the leaders of today.
