Huen Xie

USG of Committees

Huen Xie, a junior attending Abbotsford Senior Secondary, is delighted to serve as the USG of Committees for AbbyMUN 2024. Initially not expecting to participate in public speaking in her life, Huen's first conference at AbbyMUN 2023 sparked a passion for Model United Nations that has only grown since. She has since attended several conferences, each presenting new challenges that push her beyond her comfort zone—whether that’s by addressing Cyber Warfare and Ensuring Cyber Security in DISEC, to hating on the Pink Fluffy Unicorn Dancing on Rainbows (PFUDOR) groups in UNESCO. Beyond MUN, she is a dedicated music enthusiast, participating in numerous music-related activities outside and inside of school. Huen is eager to contribute to AbbyMUN this year and wishes all attending delegates the best of luck, hoping everyone enjoys their experience at AbbyMUN 2024.
